Born in Pequannock, NJ, she lived in Northern New Jersey, New York and Seattle before settling in the shore area in 1995.
She worked as an Ophthalmology Technician for Susskind and Almallah, Toms River.
She was a member of Abundant Grace Church, Toms River, and was active in their dance ministry.
Audrey also did missionary work in Haiti in 2003.
While living in New York, she was a mentor at the Walter Hoving Home in Garrison, NY.
She is survived by her children, Nicholas Gamba and his wife Ruth of Barnegat; Christen Sweeney-Tirado and her husband Anthony of Toms River, and Jessica Sweeney of Toms River; her mother, Edna Etelman of Whiting; five grandchildren, Donovan, Xander, Carmine, Lorenz and Gianna; and a brother, Daniel Etelman of Whiting.
Cremation was private.
Friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 7-9pm on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
