Barbara B. Diorio

Barbara B. Diorio, 79 years old, passed away over this weekend, at her home in Toms River. Barbara was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and moved to Toms River over 50 years ago with her family. She is predeceased by her loving husband Anthony. Barbara was extremely busy with her 4 children and volunteered at many school functions. She later worked as an administrative assistant for a few development companies in the area before retiring over a decade ago. She also enjoyed some light travel, crocheting, arts and crafts, visiting with long time friends, and being an amazing hostess to numerous wonderful family events. Barbara is survived by her children Barbara Diorio Ennis, (Bryan Ennis), Diane Diorio, Joseph Diorio (Kathleen Diorio), and Carol Diorio, her 5 grandchildren Brandon Ennis (J. Cubelo), Blaire Ennis- Mendyk ( E. Mendyk), Olivia Diorio, Michael Diorio and Aiden Diorio, as well as sister in laws, brother in laws, numerous nieces and nephews and so many wonderful friends. She will also always be remembered for her extreme generosity, strength, faith and unconditional loving. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 10th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 10:00 a.m. St. Joseph's Church in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
