Betsy B. Cuozzo

Betsy B. Cuozzo, 71, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at home. Born in Williamsport, Pa, she was a resident of Toms River since 1970. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Toms River. Betsy loved life, spending wonderful times with her family; especially her grandsons were her heart and soul.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 48 years, Joseph A. Cuozzo, M.D.; two sons Carmen Cuozzo and his wife Sue and Gregory Cuozzo, M.D. and his wife Elizabeth; two daughters Andrea Smith and her husband William and Betsey Valenza and her husband John Valenza, PhD; her sister Barbara Veitz and her husband David; and her cherished grandsons Anthony, Liam, Joey, Finn, her late grandson Declan, Nolan, Jack and Ethan.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, Jan 3, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave. Toms River followed by a committal service at St. Joseph's Cemetery Risen Christ Mausoleum in Toms River.
