Betty L. Preiser, 72, of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville and Nutley before moving to Toms River in 2002. Betty worked in customer service for Northwest Airlines in Newark for 14 years before retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Women’s Club at Holiday City. Betty enjoyed traveling, cooking and crafts.
She was predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Preiser in 1996. Surviving are her beloved husband of 52 years George; her daughter Sandra Preiser, daughter-in-law Kemarie Brooks and grandson John Preiser all of Zeeland MI; and her aunt Louise Macpherson of Toms River.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Dec 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 1528 Church Rd., Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local Animal Humane Society in memory of Betty. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River is in charge of arrangements.
