

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cy and Dorothy Storer, and her granddaughter, Marley Henderson. Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Stacey Henderson, and sons Benjamin and Joshua of Toms River, New Jersey. She is also survived by her son James Glass and his wife, Karla, and their children, Jibrail, Kaitlyn, and Noah, of Richmond, UK; and her son John Glass and his wife, Kelly, and their children, Zachary, Tyler, and LillyAnna, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A long-time childhood friend, Jeffrey Ingold, and his wife, Julea, of Lexington, South Carolina, also mourn her passing. She leaves behind her sister, Joanne Torrisi and her husband Sal; her brother, Rick Storer and his wife Nancy; and countless nieces and nephews.
Raised in North Jersey, Cheryl spent her summers in Bay Head and eventually resided there to raise her own family. She began her career as a legal secretary and was involved in the early development of the Leisure Village retirement communities. Later in life, Cheryl returned to school, obtaining a degree in Respiratory Therapy from Brookdale College. In the early 1990s, she moved to Jupiter, Florida, continuing her career at a number of local hospitals. Cheryl specialized in children's trauma care and was certified in medevac life flight, reflecting her deep dedication to saving lives. Cheryl returned to the Northeast in the early 2000s to be close to her children and grandchildren, settling in Point Pleasant Boro in 2004. She had a profound love for the ocean and seashore and was an avid collector of local artists in Jupiter, Florida, and works by Robert Wyland.
Her greatest love was her grandchildren. Cheryl immersed herself completely in their lives and activities.
Cheryl touched the life of everyone she knew. She opened her heart and her home to anyone who needed it, welcoming all with generosity and kindness. She will be missed by all who loved her.
A memorial service to celebrate the incredible life she lived will be held at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to your charity of choice.
