Christine Nelson

Christine Whitney Nelson, 47, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012. She was a NJ resident most of her life and known for her big heart. She is survived by her 4 children, Stephanie Nolan, Whitney Nelson, Cindy Nelson & Thomas Nelson Jr.; and grandchildren, Rowan & Spencer Bertani.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River.

Mom was one of the most loving, caring and giving people I have ever known. She has been there for everyone and was always the first to offer the clothing off of her back. She was a wonderful woman! She loved to give and help others whether it be working at nursing homes, rescuing animals or even being a girl scout leader. She has taught all of us how important it is to be there for others. Mom has now found her place in heaven where she can be a peace with some of her family, friends and pets. We have requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support a rescue animal at the Popcorn Park Zoo. You are able to select the dog or cat that you would like to sponsor.
