Born in Toms River, Chris was raised in Bayville and resided in Brick before moving to Toms River.
Chris was a Produce Clerk for Grand Union until it was bought out by Stop and Shop, where he has worked for the past 19 years.
He was an avid sports fan and a huge sports memorabilia collector.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 22 years, Marie Kulberda Stevens. He is also survived by his parents, Arthur and Virginia Stevens and his 2 sisters Cindy (Ray) Risden and Betsy (Allen) Verge.
Chris was also the loving Uncle to his Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews . He will be missed by his pets Jasmine, Oreo and Squeakers .
The visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2019, from 4-8 PM with a service at 7:15 PM at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Service, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, New Jersey
It would be Chris' wish that everyone attending wear casual clothes and particularly Sports Jerseys.
