Concetta “Connie” Kusher, age 70, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at Community Medical Center on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Born in Newark New Jersey on May 9th, she lived in Irvington NJ; graduating from Irvington High School in 1971. Connie married Frank Kusher in 1973 and they lived together in Springfield, NJ before moving to Toms River in 2013.
Concetta is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Santina Gargiulo and her nephew, Roy Brathwaite.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Frank Kusher; her sisters, Marie Couture (Andy), Grace Brathwaite, Sandra Kacedon (Tom). She was loved by her nieces and nephews, Eddie, Joyce, Sandi, Dana, Timothy and Trevor. Her grand nieces and nephews, Dominic, Alena, Bobby, Isabella, Kevyn, Roman, Teagan, Jude, Cami, and Scarlett.
Services are private under the direction of Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Concetta’s name are suggested to Memorial Sloan Kettering.
