Dane A. Revay

Dane Revay, 56, of Lakewood, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 peacefully at his sister’s home in Barnegat surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Jersey City, Dane resided in Lakewood since 1970. He was a loyal employee of Georgian Court University in Lakewood for 35 years. Dane enjoyed horseshoes, cards and spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Shirley Revay; his brothers Dennis and Joseph Revay; sisters Maureen Corman, Sharon Revay and Faith Sorokach. Surviving are his son Dane Revay II of Lakewood; his daughters Crystal Revay and Tiffany Revay of TX; a brother Douglas Revay of TX; his sister Holly Griffin of Barnegat; his cherished grandson Aaron Douglas; and many caring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 and Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Dorothy Marron Chapel at Georgian Court University, 900 Lakewood Rd., Lakewood. Cremation will be private.
