David E. Johnson, age 81 of Holiday City South, Berkeley Township died Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on May 10, 1939 to Einer and Emma Johnson. He was predeceased by his parents and loving wife Marian (2018) of 40 years. He is survived by his loving sister Lois Johnson, Daughter and Son-in-law Frances and Anthony DiLeo and Grandson Joseph and many cousins and friends.
He worked in the Raritan Copper Works (Anaconda) in Perth Amboy for many years as well as David Weiss Auctions where he traveled around the U.S. His final employer was Unlimited Autos, Inc. in Keyport, NJ. He was an avid NY Yankees fan, loved crabbing and camping and had a great sense of humor that he shared with family and many friends.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, Toms River, NJ
