

David C. Schwer, Jr., 66, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on September 6, 2022, surrounded by his family, after a short and aggressive battle with cancer. David was born and raised in Tarrytown, NY to the late David C. Schwer, Sr. and Lillian Kearney Schwer.
David is survived by his cherished wife Lynn of 36 years, his children, who he was always so proud of, Lauren (Ralph) Rosa and Michael (Bianca) Schwer, and a devoted G-Pa to his beautiful grandchildren, Joey and Giuliana. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan, Betsie (David) and Lynn (Fritz), his mother-in-law Angela (late Peter) Marrocco, and many nieces, nephews and friends. David will be missed by his furry best friend, Zoey.
David had a passion for coaching youth ice hockey in which he devoted many years to, and was an avid golfer. He was a jack-of-all trades and could fix anything he put his hands on. David was patriotic and loved his country, and was a volunteer firefighter at Riverside Hose in Tarrytown, NY and in Erial, NJ, something he was so proud of and spoke about often. David enjoyed Nana’s crab sauce, Blue Moons and all things Philly sports.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, September 8 from 4-8 p.m. at Anderson & Campbell, 703 Main St., Toms River, NJ. The funeral is on Friday, September 9 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Bay Head, NJ, burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
