Born in Pireaus, Greece, Mr. Christofidis came to the United States in 1962, settling in Brooklyn.
He lived there until moving to Toms River 8 years ago.
Mr. Christofidis was an Auto Body Tech, and worked until December.
He loved to travel, and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
He was predeceased by his parents, Christos and Vasilia Christofidis; his brother, John; and his sister, Stella.
He is survived by his wife, Petra and step-son, Joseph; and his sister-in-law, Joann Christofidis.
Private cremation was entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A Memorial Gathering and Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
