Donald Gallagher Sr.

Donald R. Gallagher, Sr. (Don) passed away peacefully at his home on January 15, 2022.  Don was the son of the late Edward and Helen Gallagher and the brother of the late Edward Gallagher.  Don is survived by his sister Maureen Byron and brother Michael Gallagher. Born in Harrison, NJ, Don also lived in Kearny, Toms River and Jackson, NJ.

Don is also survived by his wife Mary Jane Gallagher.  Married for 57 years and together since high school they have been a loving couple and best friends since childhood.  Don is also survived by his son Donald, his wife Kelly and their two children, Megan and John, as well as his daughter Sarah Jane Gallagher and her two children Emma and Amy.

More than anything else, Don was a caring person who always made time to help anyone in need, especially his family.  He lived life to the fullest and music was always his passion.  Don's legacy will always be the amazing husband, father and grandfather that he was; providing a house filled with love, great memories and music for his family.
