

Edward Arthur Terry, age 78, of Manchester Township, passed away from a recent illness on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was born in Glen Ridge, NJ on July 30, 1942, he would have been 79 years old on Friday.
Edward served in the Air Force during the Vietnam war. He worked in NYC for almost 30 years and loved to attend Organ Concerts in NYC and NJ and PA.
He was mostly a self taught church organist and played in many churches in Monmouth County. Edward loved Pipe Organs and Bach. He was also a choir director and led many contests in the Middletown, NJ area, he also sang for many choirs. The last two churches Edward played in were Belford Methodist Church and Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Keyport, NJ. He was good friends with Pastor Matt Thiringer and many others there.
Edward leaves behind his loving wife, Billie Ann Terry of 39 years; his nieces, Deborah Scott and children in Albany, KY, Michele & Scott Goane and Family in Carlsbad, CA; his loving in-laws, William A. Fitterer of Toms River, NJ, Alberta and Stanley Nixon of Brick, NJ; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 2-5 pm with a 4 pm prayer service at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ 08755.
