Born in Point Pleasant, Ms. Shannon previously lived in Bonita Springs and Palm Bay, Florida before returning home to Toms River 10 years ago. She was a waitress for Bally's Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City and was a loving mother, daughter, and sister. Eowynn loved music and dancing and will be remembered for her fun loving free spirit.
She was predeceased by her father, Theodore Shannon. Surviving are her children, Sara and Joshua Tijerina; mother Muriel Shannon; siblings Eunice Martinez, Morgan Martinez, Michael Martinez and his wife, Carrie, and Cyerra Shannon; boyfriend Bernie; and many other loving family and friends.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
