Frances Helen Farrant

Frances Helen Farrant, 81, of Toms River, died peacefully Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Aristacare at Whiting. Born and raised in Jersey City, she had graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Jersey City before settling in the East Dover section of Toms River in the early 70’s. In 1975, Helen & Frank had moved to the Silverton section of Toms River just after their home was finished being built. She had worked for NJ Bell Telephone Company in Toms River as an information operator & supervisor before working within the repair department. Helen was an assistant Cub Scout Leader for Pack 92, and an assistant troop leader for her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop. Helen enjoyed various forms of arts & crafts, crocheting, & ceramics. She enjoyed cruises & traveling, especially to Ireland, having visited there 4 times. Helen was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Catherine Farrant, in 1994; her beloved husband of 39 years, Frank R. Farrant Sr., in 2014; her parents: Roy E. & Helen C. (Geary) Larkin; and her in laws: Frank & Florence Farrant. She is survived by her sons: Frank R. Farrant Jr., and Christopher P. & his wife, Jennifer Farrant; granddaughter: Hailey M. Farrant; and grandsons: Christopher J. & Nicholas M. Farrant. Visitation is Monday from 6-8pm, and on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday, 11am, at St. Justin Catholic Church, 975 Fisher Blvd., Toms River, with interment to follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River. Helen’s family would like to thank her roommate, Kate, and the staff of Aristacare for their kindness and care for mom.

Visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, US, on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Justin the Martyr Roman Catholic Church, 975 Fischer Blvd, Toms River, NJ 08753, US, on April 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
