Gabriel Stanziano, 93, of Toms River, died on Thursday May 5, 2022 at Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey in Lakewood. Born in Jersey City, Gabriel - affectionately known as Chubby - lived there for more than 60 years before moving to Toms River in 1992. He was predeceased by Irene, his wife of 67 years, his parents Gabriel and Mary, his son John, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his children Michael, Valerie Wilson, Stephen and his wife Doreen, daughter-in-law Debra, Alan and his partner Jacky, and Darren; his 5 grandchildren - Michelle, Anthony, Gabriel and his wife Michelle, Lisa and her husband Chris, and Damian and his fiancee Mindy; and his great-granddaughter Isla.
Visitation will be held on Monday, 5/9 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 5/10 at 9:00 am at St. Dominic Church, 250 Old Squan Rd., Brick. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
