Gail Levins McGrath

Gail Levins McGrath, aged 69, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023 in her home with close family at her side. In Jersey City, NJ on June 8, 1954, Gail was born to loving parents Helen Patricia and Daniel Joseph Levins. She dedicated four decades of her life to service as a Phlebotomist for New York Blood Services. She retired to her home in Toms River four years ago to be closer to the beach, which she loved so much. Always a friend to animals, Gail extended her compassion by rescuing and caring for numerous pets throughout her life.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Margaret Levins Thomas, and her late husband Patrick McGrath. She is survived by her daughter, Erin McGrath and son-in-law Andy Earle; long-time partner, Paul Chlebek; brothers, Daniel Levins and wife Lorraine; Kenneth Levins and wife Patricia; nephew, Shawn Levins and wife Nicole; and her cherished feline companion, Gucci.

The family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later date.
