George Burger

George was a Sales Manager for J L C Tech in Pembroke, MA for 10 years before retiring in 2022 . He was a well traveled man. Visiting Paris, Croatia, Germany, Portugal, and many islands. And favorite of all Key West. As a 30 year member of the Toms River Yacht Club, George served two terms as Commodore. He enjoyed being out on the water with his wife on their boat appropriately named “2 Burgers to Go.” A long time Jimmy Buffet fan, he went to countless concerts including some in Paris. But mostly you could find George enjoying a craft beer at the bar and laughing with amazing friends.

George is survived by his wife Rene’ (nee Schwartz), his two nieces Brooke Christian and her husband Steven of Jackson, NJ, Chelsea McDermott of Jackson, NJ. His great niece and nephew Charlotte and Jackson Christian, his loyal dog Martin George, and brother Bobby Burger and his wife Carolan and his his mother in law, Sandy Schwartz of Manchester, NJ .

Cremation will be private.

A Celebration of George's life will take place in the spring of 2026.
