

George Henry Walker, 83, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025. Born on November 4, 1941, in Queens, New York, George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a respected member of his community.
A proud resident of Toms River for over fifty years, George also cherished his time in Gloucester, North Carolina, where he enjoyed the coastal lifestyle that matched his lifelong love of boating. Summers Spent navigating the waters of Long Island and New England brought him great joy and lasting memories with family and friends.
George was the President and Owner of Sharp Elevator Company, a successful business built on integrity, hard work, and leadership. His professional expertise extended to public service, where he served on the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Elevator Subcode Committee. He was also a member of the Toms River Elks Club and the Shrewsbury Power Squadron.
George held his pilot's license and had a true passion for flying, which reflected his adventurous spirit and love of exploration.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Ann Charlotte Walker; his daughter, Wendy Walker Wolff, and her husband Keith Andrew Wolff; his son, Kenneth George Walker; and his cherished grandchildren, Max Kenneth Wolff, Ana Clara Wolff, Kater Cassidy Wolff, and Jane Walker Wolff. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest Chester Walker and Evelyn Pearce Walker, and his sister, Katherine Walker Carr.
George will be remembered for his warmth, his dedication to family, and his passion for life on the water.
He leaves behind a legacy of strength, generosity, and deep love for those who knew him.
