Geraldine M. Young

From her birth in Orange, N.J., on August 15th, 1943 to her death on Saturday, she held a deep love of her faith.

She was the youngest of two children and lived in Verona as a young woman and moved to Toms River as her family grew.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader, trading books with her daughters.

A wonderful cook, her recipes remain part of the family's Holiday celebrations. She loved her animals and took comfort from her cat Jubilee in her later years.

She is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law Cindy and John Rouse, Beachwood, N.J., Jennifer and Frank Locorriere, Kenilworth, N.J., and Jessica Young, Seaside Heights, N.J. She was the loving Grandmother of Ken, Alex, Joe, Anthony and Gianna.

Geraldine is also survived by her sister, Patricia Sansone, and husband John, and nieces and nephews David, Darlene, Denise, John and Michael.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday 5-7 PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, N.J.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 26, 2016, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, in Berkeley Twp, N.J. followed by a private interment.
