

Giuseppe “Joe” Pitti, 88, of the Holiday City section of Berkeley Township passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at home. Born in Palermo, Sicily, he came to the United States in 1950, settling in Brooklyn. He later lived in Jackson for many years before settling in Holiday City in 2008.
An avid hunter, Mr. Pitti was a woodworker for Donald Lipp, Old Bridge, for many years prior to retiring in 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; his daughters, Rosaria Kaminski and her husband Richard of Toms River, and Patricia Torro and her husband Lenny of Kintnersville, PA; his grandchildren, Walter Childs and his wife Kristen, and Heather Childs and her partner Justin O’Connor; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Brody, Nicole, Dakota, Kali, and Kendall; his sister-in-law Margaret and her husband John Cotroneo and his sister-in-law Maria Pitti; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 4 from 2-5pm at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation will be private.
Due to Covid restrictions, masks are required to enter the funeral home and be kept on while attending services. We also ask that you practice social distancing when attending services.
