Irma Fortier

Born in Orange, NJ, Irma was the cherished daughter of the late Rose Grace (Ciampi) and Edward Paul Fortier. She proudly graduated from Our Lady of the Valley High School in Orange, NJ. Throughout her life, Irma worked locally, but her most fulfilling role was being with her family and her extensive circle of friends.

Irma's generosity was unparalleled, as she dedicated her time to her loved ones. Friends and family alike experienced the warmth of her kindness. A true animal lover, Irma found joy in the companionship of her two beloved dogs, Dallas and Sulfur.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers - Paul, Ernest, and Edward - and a sister, Florence Foisy. She is survived by her son John Anthony Morello and a large and devoted family of nieces and nephews, along with numerous other cherished family members and friends.

The Fortier family welcomes visitors to pay their respects on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Rt 37 West, Toms River, NJ. May we remember Irma Fortier for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with those around her. May she rest in eternal peace.
