To the family of Janet Fay
Please accept my sincere condolences.  I was so saddened to hear of Janet's passing.  It was such a pleasure working closely with Janet at the Cresskill Library for over 14 years.  Her friendliness and smiles were always truly contagious.  She always spoke so highly of her family members  and was sharing many proud stories.  My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of great loss.

I am absolutely saddened over Janets sudden passage. Initially she was friends with my late husband then befriended me. So kind and caring we’d discuss our loss and how we must go on . Janet was a wonderful neighborhood and mostly every time I walk out my door I look in the direction I’d usually see her walking Sandy. My heart goes out to her family especially her daughter, who lost her mother far too soon. Rest In Peace Janet.

Janet has been our neighbor for years, what a sweetheart.  Whenever she was out walking her dog and spotted us, she would wave, smile and shout a hello across the street.  We often chatted about her mom when she was ill and she always asked about an elderly mother we were caring for as well.  Her smile and friendliness helped make our block feel like home ... she will be missed daily.  Condolences to her family; RIP dear Janet.

I was so sad and shocked to hear of Janet’s passing. I worked with Janet in Cresskill for many years.  She was a huge part of the library, always  kind and helpful. Janet talked about her kids Kerri and Eric, she was so proud of them and  she adored her grandkids too, we knew her  family well .  Janet will be missed 

So saddened hearing about Janet. I will remember the both of us at the infamous Gillespie -Etzold cook outs during the summer with  Janet and I making our '  Dr Pepper Specials '..   Dr Pepper with extra cherry juice,  of 
course!!  We thought we were so grown up....  thoughts and prayers to Gail and the family.

Janet’s smile will be my fondest memory of her. We were colleagues and friends from 1993 until she retired from working at the Cresskill Library.  We told stories, gossiped and went on about our pets, her dogs and my cats. Let her find a peaceful place now. To her family, I will miss Janet and hope you all stay strong and well. Jo Yuresko

Janet's passing was an incredible shock. Last year, we exchanged texts on Janet's birthday (12/18,her birthday is same with my friend). We were colleagues at Cresskill Library for 13 years. I always remember her bright smile at work, and she would share her family stories. I also remember her giving out pistachio muffins because we both liked them. I give the decease all my blessings. I miss her.

To Janets family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Janet, Jeff, and Daisy when they moved to Barnegat. Loved them immediately. Janet became a dear sweet neighbor and friend. I will miss her and Sunny so much, and prayer she is with Jeff. My deepest condolences  ❤️

My beloved mom you passed so suddenly there wasn’t time to say goodbye. My heart is shattered. You’re my mom and I will love you and miss you forever. Rest in eternal peace now with dad. Keep watch over us as we navigate life without you both.

Janet will always have a place in our hearts.   She will be missed more than any words can express.  We will forever keep her in our prayers.

The best mom a son could ask for, you and dad gave me a great life. I hope you are together again love you always.

Very sad to read this.  I grew up and spent a number of my adult years in Cresskill . Both myself and my parents would often visit the library and would always be greeted by  Janet .  I hope Janet enjoyed some retirement time and know she will always be remembered as an icon in the Cresskill 

Janet was  one of the most popular girls in our class. I recall that she was always kind to me when we were in high school. I enjoyed catching up with her a a reunion some years ago.
She was one of the good ones.

Dear Eric and Kerri, Gail and Ray and your extended families,
Janet's passing is a huge shock. We were colleagues at the Cresskill Public Library for 10 years and friends who shared family stories at work and well into retirement.  Janet's family and her late husband Jeff [plus their dogs Reggie, Daisy, Sunny] were the absolute center of Janet's life. I loved her bright smile,  openess,  and friendly nature. All this and more will be missed.

I first met Janet when she would come over to to the Cheselka house in Heatherhill Ct .to practice cheerleading , they were  the older girls.... Kim and I would watch , we were very young...
