Julia Bembenek, age 94, of Toms River, NJ passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Passaic, NJ, Julia, lived most of her life in Nanticoke, PA, before coming to Toms River. She was a very active parishioner at Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke, PA and St. Joseph’s Church, Toms River. Julia is survived by her sisters Alma Begosh and A. Patricia Fry; her loving nieces and nephews: Donald Begosh, Donna Fry, Glenn Bembenek, Nancy Webb, Deane Bembenek, Jill Forte, Joan Hildebrand and Jeanne Repage. She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 9:30 to 10: 30 AM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, followed by a 11:00 AM funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Toms River. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Quilts for Comfort, PO Box 365, Windsor, NJ 08561.
