November 8, 1962 – March 7, 2026
Kenneth Edward Schoenleber, 63, of Manchester, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026.
Born on November 8, 1962, in Plainfield, New Jersey, Ken built a life grounded in family, hard work, and helping others. He was the owner of JLS Mechanical, LLC, where he worked as a skilled HVAC
technician. Ken liked being the guy people called when something needed fixing and helping others gave him a strong sense of purpose.
In his free time, Ken loved fishing and spending time out on the water on his boat, where he found peace and enjoyment. He also enjoyed catching a lot of live music, rooting for the Steelers, going south to Atlantic City, and eating good sushi.
Later in life, Ken discovered one of his greatest joys in being a grandfather. He and his grandson Arlo shared a special bond, and being Papa was a role he cherished deeply.
He was predeceased by his father, Edward; his brother, Kevin; and his son, Jamie.
Ken is survived by his mother, Doris; his wife, Sharyl; his daughter, Jessi and her husband Joseph Nicosia; his son, Jacob; and his beloved grandson, Arlo Nicosia.
He is also survived by his brother, Stephen and his wife Nicki; his niece Dana Teeple and her husband Steven, along with their daughter Gia; and his nephew Casey.
Ken will be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand, his dedication to those he loved, and the happiness he found on the water and with family. His family will carry his memory with them
always—and may think of him with a smile whenever someone casts a line and waits for a bite, plays the slots down in AC, rocks out at a concert, or bites into a rainbow roll.
Services will be private.
