Born and raised in Long Branch NJ, She also lived in Silverton, NJ for many years before moving to Berkeley Township NJ.
Lauren loved New York City where she attended Parsons School of Design and worked for Avon. Lauren was a freelance artist, in which she produced many statement pieces. While she was a talented artist, her truest talent was bringing people together, she was always surrounded by good people. Lauren was a lover of all the arts, she enjoyed music, movies, literature and pop culture. Her greatest love of all was animals, she would have saved them all if she could.
She is predeceased by her parents, Helen and Harrison Skeuse.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755, on December 22, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A bagpiper will be playing from 5pm to 5:30pm. Open Mic to anyone who has a great Lauren story to share.
