Lois Ruth Meyer, 80, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at home. Born in Rahway, she lived in Cranford and Houston, TX before moving to Toms River 22 years ago. Lois was a member the Order of the Eastern Star, Lucinda Chapter in Elizabeth. She was a devoted wife, mother and a proud grandmother and great grandmother. Lois was loved by many close friends and she will be sorely missed by all.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years Albert W. Meyer and her son Remsen. Surviving are her daughters Linda L. Meyer, Noemi Meyer and Kathy Zenna and her husband Rick; her cherished grandsons Samuel Meyer and Remsen A. Meyer and his wife Hillary; and her adored great grandchildren Jack and Mckenna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 -4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private.
