

Louis Joseph Ciardi, 60, of Toms River, NJ, passed away April 4th, 2019, at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was born in Newark, NJ, and lived in Roselle Park, NJ, before moving to Toms River 22 years ago. He owned and operated multiple car washes in the state of NJ. Louis was an avid Giants and Yankees fan. He attended St. Justin the Martyr Church.
Louis was predeceased by his mother Mary Ciardi, and his sister Virginia Mencor. He is survived by his father Pasquale Ciardi of Lakewood; his beloved wife Carol (Dinice) Ciardi of 13 years; two sons: Joseph of Beachwood and Michael of Toms River; and one daughter Ashley of Jersey City. Louis is also survived by a brother Samuel Ciardi of Whiting; and four sisters: Patricia Labiak and husband John of Brigantine, Lucky Wade of Toms River, Maryann Raimondi and husband Raymond of Little Egg Harbor, and Susan Smith and husband Robert of Jackson; many nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Bruno.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10th, from 4 to 8 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 11th, at 9:30 a.m. St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Order for Rare Diseases in memory of Louis.
