Marcella Anne Reininghaus

Marcella Anne (Ford) Reininghaus, of Bayville, NJ, passed away on December 23, 2011, at her home on her 80th birthday, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Belford, NJ, and lived in Fort Monmouth and Toms River, before moving to Bayville in 1955. Marcella met her wonderful husband Kurt in history class in Toms River High School where she graduated in 1950. She worked as a secretary for the Naval Air Station, Lakehurst, NJ.

Marcella was predeceased by her parents, Master Sgt. Wilbur E. Ford and his wife Mary; her brother, Colonel Wilbur E. Ford Jr; and an infant son and daughter. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Kurt Reininghaus Jr.; one son, Steven and his wife Ashley, of Fulton, NY; two daughters: Patricia Tavis and her husband Richard of Howell, NJ; and Sandra and her husband Dr. Jonathan Cox of West Chester, PA; one brother Capt. William Ford of Pine Beach, NJ; and one sister Joan Luker of Melbourne, FL. Marcella is also survived by eight grandchildren: Shaun, Richard, Ryan, Christian, Samantha, Kirstyn, Kyle and Lilly; and three great grandchildren Abigail, Kevin and Kristian.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. until the service at 12 Noon at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonand campbell.com.
