Maria Innamorato

Maria (Mary) Innamorato, née Bisogna, 86, of Toms River, passed away on February 3, 2017. Maria was born in Newark, NJ on September 24, 1930. Maria graduated from East Side High School and maintained lifelong friendships.

Maria and her loving husband Thomas, celebrated 65 years of marriage on September 30th, 2016. Maria was employed at Bergen Machine & Tool in Nutley and United Water Company in Toms River where again, she made lasting friendships.

Maria’s passion was cooking and she hosted countless dinners for her adoring family and friends.

Maria was survived by her loving husband, daughter Janice, son-in-law Richard, daughter-in-law Karen, and grandchildren, Rick and his fiancé Chantelle, Richelle and her partner Joanna, Joseph, Melissa and her husband Chris, and Jessica. Maria was also a loving Great Grandmother (“GG”) to Maxwell. Maria’s recent friendship with Mia was one full of love and laughter. Maria was especially awaiting the day she would hold her son Tom close again and also join her brothers and sisters.

Maria gave her family the gift of unconditional love, laughter, and the best cheesecake recipe. Mom and Grams, “Loving you is food for our soul.”

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A committal service will follow at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum Chapel at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
