

Marilyn Guarneri (Myers), 81, of Toms River; loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many, passed away Thursday morning, July 3rd, 2025 with her daughters Susan and Vicki by her side. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Marilyn and her husband Vito raised four daughters, Dawn, Susan, Sally, and Vicki in Toms River. She was born in Bloomfield, NJ on January, 17th 1944 where she attended Bloomfield High School.
Upon moving to Toms River and beginning their family, Marilyn was always active in her daughters’ activities and events. A consumed member of the Silver Bay Elementary PTO, Marilyn was supportive in every way for her daughters. She loved Atlantic City, traveling to Florida, watching soap operas, the Hallmark channel, PGA Golf, and of course the NY Yankees. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and adoring grandchildren. She could be found at every home game for the Toms River North girls basketball team over the course of a 25 year period and supported each and every one of the girls and coaches. Marilyn’s love of people, conversation, positivity, her ever present smile and laugh that brought life to every room in which she found herself, will be terribly missed.
Marilyn is predeceased by her husband Vito, her mother Susie Veneziano, her father Michael Veneziano, and her daughters Dawn and Sally. She is survived by her devoted daughters Susan Palmer and Vicki Gillen, her son in laws Dwight Palmer, Ted Gillen, Anthony Gach, and her beloved grandchildren Vito and Gianna Gach, Aaron, Isabella & Dylan Palmer, and Brady and Jack Gillen. Also sisters-in-law Diane Jones and husband Butchie, Marylou Dowse and husband Bobby, brother Dennis Myers and wife Barbara and many nieces and husbands.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Saint Justin the Martyr Roman Catholic Church, 975 Fischer Blvd, Toms River, NJ 08753. A committal service will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River
