Born in Newark, NJ and raised in Harrison, MaryAnn later made her home in Brick, where she lived for over 50 years. A graduate of Holy Cross Commercial High School, she began her professional life in real estate with Century 21. Though she was a skilled agent, she found her true calling later in life, working as a dermatological medical assistant—a role that allowed her generous, nurturing spirit to shine as she helped others with kindness and compassion.
MaryAnn was the kind of person who was always ready to lend a hand, offer support, or simply be a comforting presence. She was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life. A proud New York Giants fan and lifelong lover of music, she filled every room with her joy—often by singing along, unabashedly, to her favorite tunes.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. MaryAnn treasured every moment of "family time," whether it was a big holiday gathering or a simple afternoon surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her loving smile, caring eyes, and warm heart were the center of countless memories, and she leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and deep devotion.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Walter Reinhardt; her children, Anthony Giordano (Christine), Joy Bearden (Anthony), and Samuel Giordano (Talya) and stepdaughter Sandy Decker (Michael); her dear sister Mary “Sissy” Fredo (John). In addition, her ten adored grandchildren: Angelli (Chris), Alexa (Chris), Christian, Marisa (Quinton), Vincent, Emily, Mark, Maya, Gabriel, and Asher; and great grandchildren Raegan, Delaney, Anthony, Blaketon, Christopher, Weston, Shea, Tayton. MaryAnn is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She now joins in eternal rest her parents, Anthony and Joyce D’Alessio (Jackson), and her sister, Victoria Nowicki (D’Alessio), who preceded her in death.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate MaryAnn’s life at a viewing on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A funeral mass will be held in her honor on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753. Interment will follow privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in MaryAnn’s memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org) or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
MaryAnn’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be carried in the hearts of all who knew her.
