

Born in Newark, New Jersey,
Mr. Flick lived in North Plainfield, Sayreville and Jackson for 25 years until recently moving to the Brick Township area a few weeks ago. He proudly served in the United States Army for 2 years and was stationed at Fort Polk in Leesville, Louisiana. He was a railroad electrician for Conrail in Newark and in his spare time enjoyed reading novels by James Patterson, Tom Clancy and Stephen King. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Michael loved him instantly and his family meant the world to him. He loved spending time with his loved ones and his best friend, a Jack Russell Terrier, named Rusty
He was predeceased by his parents Percy and Grace Flick as well as his sister Debra Jane Taylor. Surviving is his wife Dianne; daughters Michelle Baker and her husband Glenn, Melanie Strasko and her husband Alan and Marlena Flick and her fiancé Steve; grandchildren Charles Baker and his fiancé Brittany, Amanda Budis and Michael Baker; sister Carol Ann Dronke and her husband Karl; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial services honoring Michael's life will be held at a later date. Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
