Michael J. Lee was born on December 14, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York to Michael and Maureen Lee. He graduated from Stockton College with a degree in Criminal Justice and went on to work for the State across different departments for 26 years. On March 6, 1994 he married Jacqueline Arch, and they shared 30 beautiful years together having two children.
Michael J. Lee was known for his kind and loving heart with his selfless desire to make everyone happy and laugh. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his love for music and sports, collecting sports memorabilia, traveling to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and making his backyard with his wife a “staycation” spot for them. Upon retiring, Michael wanted to reinvent himself and went on to learn everything he could. He went on to culinary school, worked at the beaches for the summers, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, and became a licensed Pharmacy Tech. He will be remembered for his love for hot sauces, making his own recipes, his many stories, and always buying thoughtful and sometimes obscure gifts.
Michael J. Lee is survived by his wife Jacqueline, their children Tyler (Theresa) and Meghan (Alex), his parents Michael and Maureen, his sister MaryBeth (Chris and Nephew and Niece, Ryan and Elizabeth) his sister-in-law Lauren (Nephews Matthew and Daniel) and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date, date to be announced.
