Michelle Laurette Doherty

Michelle was born in Kearny NJ and graduated from Jefferson Township HS and attended the University of Alabama and the Collage of Saint Elizabeth. After a career in Finance working for TRW, Michelle retired and moved to Toms River. Michelle loved the opera and the theater and spending time

with her family at Lake Swannanoa and summers with her brother Kevin with the Saint Benedict’s Drama Guild. Michelle was also a big supporter of Cadets Drum and Bugle Corp. She would volunteer every week at a cat rescue shelter 'Calling All Cats' and many animals have loving homes due to her work. Michelle was vice queen of 'Red Alert' a red hat group, an over 50 organization. Michelle is survived by her brother Kevin and dozens of cousins throughout the country.

Friends and family can celebrate Michelle’s life on Saturday, Dec 17, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. with a service at 7:30 p.m. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River, NJ 08753.
