

Mildred A. Guaglione, 89, of the Holiday City West section of Berkeley Township passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at home. Daughter of the late John and Julia Less, she was born in Passaic and lived there and in Clifton prior to moving to Nutley, where she lived and raised her family for over fifty years. She settled in Holiday City in 2005.
A Registered Nurse, she was a 1951 graduate of Saint Joseph School of Nursing, Paterson. She retired in 1997 after a long career at the Daughters of Miriam Center, Clifton. She had a lifelong love of reading and learning, as well as a dedication to helping those in need.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, William Guaglione, in 2016, and by her brother, Joseph Less, in 1993. She is survived by her daughters, Marianne Moscaritola and her husband Angelo of Nutley, Diane LaPierre of Toms River, and Laurie Saliani and her husband Paul of Whippany; her grandchildren, Christa Cifelli and her husband Ray, Jennifer Jazwinski and her husband Mark, Jeffrey Moscaritola, John Moscaritola and his wife Dara, and Leina and Gabriel Saliani; and her great-grandchildren, Alexa, Emma, John, Grayson, Alexander and Natalie.
Due to the current restrictions, services will be private. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the VNA Hospice of Central New Jersey, as well as to Patty Lees for her endless support.
