

Nancy Kay (Thornley) King, 87, of Beachwood, passed away Monday, April 14, 2012, at Brandywine Assisted Living, Toms River. Born in Pawtucket, RI., formerly of New York, Nancy came to Beachwood in 1947. Nancy was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, class of 1945, where she was also sister of Delta Zeta Sorority. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Nancy was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” King in 2006 and a sister Suzanne Schultz. Surviving are three daughters: Sandra Lehman and husband Robert of Melbourne Beach, Fla., Suzanne King and Walt Mazur of Toms River, and Sherryl Snare and husband Parker of Easton, Pa.; a sister Arlene Chiquette; five grandchildren, Eileen Phillips, Rachael Bell, Josh Lehman, Matt Snare and Kate- Lyn Snare; six great grandchildren, Matt, Katie, Kristen, Garrett, Cooper and Brandon.
Visiting will take place Thursday, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a 11:30 funeral service at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. Interment will follow at Brig.
