Nicholas was born in Passaic, New Jersey and attended St. Mary's Grammar School, Middletown North and Mater Dei High School. He was a devoted husband and father. His career spanned decades in the automobile industry. He was an inventor with many great creative ideas.
Nicholas is survived by his wife Joan Hoffman Guarino; brother Angelo Joseph Guarino and his wife Christine of Point Pleasant; sister Linda Brook of Wall; three children Christine, Cindy and Paul; his grandson Gerard; five nieces and nephews Kim, Guinevere, Matthew, Justin and Tyler.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 2PM to 4PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
