

He graduated from Kearny High School in 1959. He enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1960. Patrick was a proud employee of Anheuser Busch, Newark, NJ, where he worked as a Brewer for 31 years before retiring in 1998. He was a member of the American Legion Post 348 in Brick. He was a staunch N.Y. Giants fan. After the N.Y. Giants won their first Superbowl in 1986, he was quoted as saying “More men for my beer!” While he wasn’t a fan of traveling, Patrick did manage to visit many places including Bermuda, Canada, Niagara Falls, Nova Scotia, Alaska, the Mid-West (10 states), the Florida Keys, Williamsburg, VA., Aruba, and England. After his retirement, he enjoyed golfing, playing cards, fishing, going to Atlantic City, and spending time with his grandchildren who were the lights of his life.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Pauline Laurich, Frances Rapicka, and Louise Fuss.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John P. and Lisa, his daughter, Susan M., his four grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa, Tyler, and Evan, several nieces and nephews, and his children’s mother, Angela Penna.
A visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, located at 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, on December 13, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A private cremation will follow.
