Robert A. Cramer Sr.

Born in Neptune, NJ, Robert grew up in Shark River Hills before settling in Beachwood in 1979. He dedicated 41 years of service as a trucking mechanic with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Asbury Park, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues for his work ethic and skill.

A passionate NASCAR fan, Robert was also a racer himself-driving the #52 and #15 cars at Wall Stadium and New Egypt Raceway for over 20 years. His enthusiasm for the sport was matched by his love of the outdoors. An avid hunter, he traveled across the country, creating cherished memories on those adventures with family and friends.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Francis Cramer; his siblings, Peggy Latshaw, Colleen Burr, Herbert Cramer; and his brother-in-law, Edward Bickley Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Cramer; his sister, Denise Cramer; his children and their spouses: Bridget & Nick Calcara, Danuelle & Roland DeMartino, Robert Jr. & Stacey Cramer, John & Sara Cramer.

Robert was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren: Hanna DeMartino, Abigayle Calcara, Dakota Cramer, Cameron Calcara, Jacob DeMartino, Shane Cramer, Rylee Cramer and Zachary Cramer. His legacy lives on in their hearts and memories.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Rt. 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
