Robert W Stewart

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert W. Stewart announce his passing on Friday June 13th, 2025 at Community Medical Center in Tom’s River, NJ. Bob was born in Jersey City, NJ, grew up in Union City and moved to Toms River with his family in 1984. He served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer and was a retired Fire Captain for the North Hudson Regional Fire Department. He will be most remembered for being a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Janet Stewart nee Hinte. He is also survived by his 3 loving children. His daughters Kelly Bowles, Kimberly Siris (Rob) and his son Robert R. Stewart (Christina). Bob is also survived by his 6 loving grandchildren, Caylie, Jacob, Kate, Kara, Ryann and Bobby. He is also survived by his siblings, Eugene and Kenneth Stewart, Eileen Rizzo and Barbara Falcone. Bob was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Eileen Stewart and his brothers Perry and Michael Stewart, as well as his sisters, Robin Jaworski and Sandra Alves.

There will be a memorial service on Monday June 30, 2025 from 4-7pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Tom’s River NJ. There will be a service Monday evening at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Tunnel to Towers foundation. www.t2t.org.
