Saletta Amodio

Saletta was born in Monopoli Bari, Italy on December 12, 1936 to Joseph and Cosima Aresta before coming to the United States. She resided in North Bergen, NJ before coming to Toms River, NJ in 1977.

Her husbands Donato Di Mola and Pietro Amodio precede her in death

She leaves behind 3 children and their spouses Pete and Lisa Di Mola, Donato and Donna Di Mola and Ignazio and Janel Amodio

She was a proud Grandma of 6 - Evan Di Mola (Kimberly), Diana Daly (James), Gina Di Mola, Donald Di Mola, Pietro Amodio and Niko Amodio and Great Grandma of 2- Angelina Di Mola and Maverick Daly. She leaves behind 3 brothers John, Anthony and Frank and 2 sisters Carmela and Josephine as well as several nieces and nephews.

Many will remember Saletta for her generosity, concern for others, unconditional love and countless acts of kindness. Family was by far her proudest honor and the legacy she built for many years is forever imprinted in the lives of those she touched. She was our guiding light. Now she is our Angel in heaven.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 4-8 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A mass will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Church in Toms River. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
