Serafina Dapuzzo

Serafina, beloved daughter of Danielle and Nicholas Dapuzzo; sissy to Jersey Girl, passed away at the age of 13 on September 1, 2024. Born on October 30, 2010, Serafina brought joy and light to all who knew her with her vibrant spirit and infectious smile. 

Serafina (affectionally known as Fina), was a student at Hawkswood School, where she was known for her enthusiasm for learning and for being a social butterfly.  Fina had a deep love for reading books, taking walks, singing, swimming in her pool, watching Mickey Mouse, arts and crafts, listening to her favorite tunes and rooting on her favorite sports teams.  Fina loved nothing more than giving her Mama and Dada wet kisses.

Serafina is survived by her loving parents Danielle and Nicholas; sister Jersey Girl; her  cherished grandparents, Blase and Marietta, Frank and Marcy; as well as her aunts and uncles, Melissa and Craig; Coren and Ross, Melissa and Dale, Susanne and Carlos. She is deeply missed by her cousins, Clayton, Riley, Gianna, Brett, Grace, James, Frankie and Jimmy. Serafina is also remembered fondly by her extended family, friends, nurses, therapists, teachers and all of ‘Team Fina.’

Services will be private, and in lieu of flowers the family requests donations are made to Field of Dreams (Field of Dreams) or Joey’s Little Angels (Joeys Little Angels) in Fina’s honor.  These organizations played a huge role in Serafina’s journey.

Serafina’s light will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
