Sharon M. Dodson

Sharon Marie Dodson, 84, of Bayville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched. Originally from Springfield, Missouri, Sharon made the East Coast her home many years ago.

Her selfless dedication to volunteering at Deborah Hospital and with Meals on Wheels brought her immense joy, particularly in her interactions with senior citizens. Sharon's love for her family was evident in the cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she delighted in cooking and baking.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arthur and Bessie Dodson, her sisters, Mary, Esma, Kathryn, and Elizabeth, and her brothers, Arthur and William.

Sharon is survived by her son, Arthur Galati; her daughters Pamela Spence, her husband Paul, Jennifer Whitaker, her husband Michael, and Angela Barto, her husband William; her grandchildren Gabrielle, Danielle, Vincenzo, Emily, Conrad, Kathleen, Alexandra, and Sarah; and her great-grandchildren, Vincenzo and Massimo.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5-7pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private.
