Tessie Hartmann

Tessie Hartmann, 101, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away peacefully of natural causes on December 20, 2025. Born on April 5, 1924, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Tessie lived a long and fulfilling life defined by love, kindness, and grace.

A devoted homemaker, Tessie found great joy and pride in raising her two sons-her proudest achievement. Always easygoing, she rarely worried about things beyond her control and greeted everyone she met with a warm smile and a cheerful hello. Her gentle spirit touched many, leaving a legacy of calm and compassion.

After retirement, Tessie and her beloved husband Hank enjoyed traveling together, exploring new places and making lasting memories. She also cherished playing mahjong and rummy cube with her close circle of friends. A lifelong Catholic, Tessie regularly attended Mass and held a special fondness for Christmas Eve services, which brought her great comfort and joy.

Tessie is survived by her sons, John Hartmann and Gary Hartmann, 2 grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

A visitation will take place Friday, January 9, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ. Immediately following the services, we will depart for Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd. Wrightstown, NJ, where she will be interred next to her husband at 11:30 AM.
