Virginia E. Hoehe

Ginny was born in Lakewood, New Jersey, at Paul Kimball Hospital on August 26, 1929. She was a lifelong resident of Silverton and Toms River. She passed away peacefully in her home on July 9, 2025 at the age of 95.

Ginny attended Toms River Schools until 7th grade and then moved to Collingswood where she graduated from Collingswood High School in 1948.

Upon completion of high school Ginny moved back to Toms River and worked for a small loan company downtown until the birth of her sons. She was a stay at home mom for ten years.

When she returned to work, she was employed as secretary to the rector of Christ Episcopal Church for ten years. She then worked as a secretary for Toms River Schools for over 20 years until her retirement in 1994.

Ginny was adored by her family and deeply respected by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents Hamilton and Cora (Back) Tilton. Ginny is survived by her sons Mark Hoehe and his wife Coleen and Michael Hoehe; her brother Paul Tilton and his wife Jo Ann and their daughter Kira; her grandchildren Kyle, Kara, and Erica; and her great grandchildren Giavanna, Deegan, Karson, Aksel, Maksim and Kameron.

Visitation will take place on July 17th from 4 to 6 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home at 703 Main Street in Toms River.
