William Patrick Bobsein

William Patrick Bobsein, 86, of Toms River, NJ and Stuart, Florida passed away surrounded by his loving family at Community Medical Center, Toms River on Wednesday September 20, 2017. Born in Norwich, CT, William had previously lived in Plainfield before settling down in Toms River and Stuart. A graduate of Villanova and NYU, William earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and later retired in the field. William loved to golf and volunteer at the St. Joseph’s Church of Toms River, where he was a longtime parishioner.

William is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Doris (Lyons) and his three children, Thomas of Randolph, NJ, Richard and his wife Barbara of Jupiter, FL, and Laurel Severson and her husband Matthew of Dover, NH, nine grandchildren, Jenna, Caitlin, Erin, Christopher, Elaine, Derek, Jeremy, Kathleen and Laura. William is also survived by his sister Mary Chretien of Stuart, FL.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday September 23, 2017 at 9:30 am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Toms River.
