l truly do not have the words so l will ramble my Mom Ann and Babe were friends well before our time. The stories were beyond and to me that explains all of us. Joey and l became friends and Terry what a honour for our parents children to connect. When King City was in the picture l was staying at Mary lake and called Babe she was so excited that her dear friends daughter called and was in King City and Mary Lake. l will never forget her words (Our property backs on to Mary Lake you must come for lunch) Babe forgot to mention Mary Lake is 880 Acers my friend and l borrowed bikes and did not arrive till dinner. Our sincerest condolences to all the family for the passing of Babe. Your family and mine were neighbours in Oakville, and us kids were at the house almost every day, enjoying a swim. I was taught how to swim by Babe, and she was so kind and patient.

Dearest Rennie, Barb, Bernie, Marji and Joe,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I was the flower girl at your Mum and Dad's wedding and Babe was my wonderful, joyous aunt whom I loved and loved hearing her voice and laugh. She always made me feel warm and loved. I regret not getting to see her very often after we left Canada, but she was never forgotten by me. I like to think that she is warmly looking down on us all and saying, "Don't worry kids, I'm very happy here seeing Bill and Terri again, all my brothers and sister, Mum and Dad, our grand parents and aunts, uncles and cousins. It's a real reunion and I'm having the time of my life and am feeling like the Belle of the ball!"  Your Mum will never be forgotten by me as she was a part of my first 9 years of life. Dear Barb and Family
I was greatly saddened to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a bright and cheerful light in everyone's life. Every time i visited she would make me Swedish  thumb print cookies because she knew they were my favourite. She made everyone feel welcome whether it was a short or long visit. Her 
contagious laughter sunny disposition will be sadly missed as will my "Tea with Babe"

I was saddened to hear of Babe's death.  I last saw her when she and Barb came to the funeral home in Hastings when my Dad died.  She was frail but perky and was able to kindly take time to be with my mother for private conversation which was just a few weeks before Mom's death.  Dad always had a soft spot for the "Tully girls" and his childhood memories of them hanging with his sister Anne in his house were among his favourites.  As a child in Sarnia I remember well her visits to our home, her sort of raspy voice and infectious laugh and joy in life.  All my family members were touched by her coming to the funeral home at Dad's death.  On behalf of my wife, Jane,and all the Bill & Dorelle MacDonald family, I offer heartfelt condolences to the Jackman family.

Even after all these years, I have a picture of Babe in my mind that does not age. I still see her in our kitchen giving us directions on how to prepare "her" Brownie Recipe. We laughed till we cried as we spilled flour and cocoa everywhere and then adjusted all the recipe amounts. Babe was visiting our mother Margaret but she spent most of her time with us in the kitchen. It was a wonderful cooking class and was probably where all the Maguires learned their love of baking. After 50 years, I am still constantly asked for my Brownie Recipe to which I reply, " It is Mrs. Jackman's Recipe. Be sure to prepare it with fun and laughter... and don't worry about the spills."      Remembering your very sweet and lovable Mom, Babe.

Our parents and family all loved Babe.  She welcomed us all at her door, both when we were children in Sarnia and in Toronto, as adults. We will miss her welcoming smile and  peals of laughter, along with a hot cup of tea when we visited.  We loved to visit often, She will be truly missed by all of our family.  Mary and Helen Maguire, on behalf of the Maguire Clan.

My Mother, Ann Dolan (MacDonald)has been a life-long friend with Babe. Mom has requested that her sincere and heartfelt condolences be expressed to the entire Jackman family at this difficult time. Through their friendship, I was introduced to Babe at a very young age and even then her laugh was her "signature". Over the course of time our paths would cross, usually at some sort of social function and Babe's ever present smile and infectious smile would fill the room. That is my lasting memory of Babe. Never knew until now that she actually had a real name, Agnes. God bless yea Agnes !

Graham and I send our heartfelt condolences. Babe's force of personality and passion for living is reflected in what has been instilled in her family. We know her to be a model as a parent but for those of us who knew her as Barb's mom, she was also always the model for good sense and good advice.

I only met "Babe" once, at Theresa's funeral.  I felt like I knew her, from the warmth of feelings that Terri shared with me when we were neighbours.  Lots of spunky stories, too.  I send my sincerest condolences to all the family members, especially Meghan, Bernie, Barb, and Carolina.

My  memories of Babe as caring,compassionate fun-loving friend,to family and to all who knew her.May she remain in our hearts and continue to be the positive
