Sorry to hear of the loss of your father, Brennan. I hope that in the days, weeks and months ahead you will find solace in fond memories and the close moments you shared as a family.

Alan and I were so close that he was my best man  at my wedding to Irene 10 years ago.Many times going camping and laughing alt ourselves.
 Our working  relationship  the was the beat because of Alan's leadership.

Alan will be missed !

I was truly sorry to hear about the loss of your father Brennan. I cannot begin to understand what you are going through as I have not lost a parent but I hope my friendship, sympathy and heartfelt condolences bring you some comfort. Although I only met your father a handful of times, I could tell from what I've seen and what you told me that he was a very loving and supportive father and grandfather. I remember the last time Alan helped you and Bailey move, I was amazed that even though he was so tired of going up and down the stairs at your old building, he kept going until the job was done. My condolences to you, Bailey, River and the rest of your family.

You were a second father to me through the majority of life, and you taught me so many things that I will always hear in your voice. I wish you were able to pass them to River yourself, but you will be with me when I am able to pass them along to her and tell her where the wisdom came from. I hope you finally know no pain.

There were so many memories that we had yet to make. My heart is broken beyond what words can express. I love you, and miss you every second of every day. River will always know what a great man you were, and your influence will guide her always. Until we meet again, thank you for making me the man I am today.

Alan and I were friends back in our twenties in TO. We shared many happy times at local pubs in the early 70's. Lots of laughs. You'll be missed my friend.
